Malayalam film ‘Vellaripattanam’ through which Manju Warrier essays the position of a panchayat member is all set to hit the massive screens. Soubin Shahir too could be enjoying a pivotal position on this political drama. Apparently, in the course of the costume discussions of this film, the makers have been sceptical about whether or not a feminine panchayat member ought to solely be seen in saris. Within the film, Manju performs the position of KP Sunanda, a vibrant panchayat member. ‘Vellaripattanam’ is slated to hit the screens on 24 March.
